2-Day Standard Mental Health First Aid
Learn how to assist friends, family and loved ones (adults) who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received, or the crisis resolves. Course includes a manual, handouts and resources, a framed Mental Health First Aid certificate and access to National Accreditation.

You will learn how to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.
This course is evidenced based, developed by based experts in the Industry and consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems.
What you can expect to learn
Signs and symptoms of common and disabling mental health problems in adults, how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and how to provide first aid in a crisis situation.
